Is it permissible for a woman to teach boys in the primary school stage, where the student's age is between six and ten?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : In the primary school stage with us, the student's age starts when he enters school at six, and then he graduates at ten; meaning he stays for four years. Is it permissible during this period of the primary school stage that instead of men teaching, women teach?

The Shaykh : From the age of seven to ten?

The questioner : From six to ten; meaning he graduates from the kindergarten at six. From four to six, a woman teaches him in the kindergarten. From six to ten in the primary school stage, is it permissible for women to teach him?

The Shaykh : In truth, in this matter, it is necessary to consult the opinion of some of those who are called psychologists today, because we know that many boys or children develop sexual sensitivity before this age of ten. If the majority of these youths or boys are sexually sensitive, then it is not permissible for us to raise the age to the tenth year, but rather we lower it to the year in which it is most likely that this boy does not think about or have any sexual matters in his mind. Because in the books of Islamic jurisprudence, it is correct that they mention, regarding many of the rulings, for example, the obligation of the boy; when is he obligated?
Of course, when he reaches the age of obligation, when he reaches puberty, and this naturally varies from person to person. But this obligation is different from the harms that may result from some of the boys who have not yet reached the age of obligation. For example, in the Noble Qur'an, if a child has not seen the private parts of women, it is permissible for him to enter upon the women while they are in their home clothes. But if he has knowledge and has seen the private parts of women and feels the desire there, even if he has not reached the age of obligation, it is not permissible for the woman to appear before him, and it is not permissible for the guardian of this boy to allow him to enter upon the women, even if he has not reached the age of obligation. So likewise here, if the majority of children feel something of sexual matters, it is not permissible for the Muslim woman to enter upon them. And conversely, if the majority is not like that, it is permissible. This is the criterion in this matter.
