Is it possible to derive from the hadith of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) (Command your children to pray when they are seven years old, and beat them for it when they are ten

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The student: That is, after ten, after ten years... that is, he has reached the age after ten years. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
and arrange their beds (to sleep) separately. فرِّقوا بينهم في المضاجع
Sunan Abi Dawud 495Hasan Sahih (Al-Albani)
... We command him, we start from this age that he does not enter unless he asks for permission?

The Shaykh: The issue is not tied to an age... for a certain wisdom...
they have not appeared upon the private parts of women لَمْ يَظْهَرُوا عَلَى عَوْرَاتِ النِّسَاءِ
.
The student: Yes, that is correct, but generally a ten-year-old boy can distinguish the beautiful from the ugly, the charms of women. One does not think that he would reach ten years of age and not have reached the stage of discernment.
Another student : Or he mentions it, meaning after he enters.
Another student : That is, he discerns this, even if he is under ten years old, he may have that. As for ten years, it is rare for one to have that dullness.

The Shaykh: Okay, if you say ten and someone else says nine, what is the dividing line?
The student: There is no limit, but that he has not reached thirteen and twelve... .

The Shaykh: Answer the question... .
The student: There is no doubt it is the subject of the verse, as she said, whether he appears or does not appear.

The Shaykh: My brother, answer the question, may Allah guide you.
The student: It is that we know that he appears, this is the answer.

The Shaykh: So leave the ages, ten or nine, and be at peace with these limits that the Shari'ah has not specified.
The student: Ah, the issue is what? For example, my son... women, so my son is thirteen, and I see, for example, or before he is ten years old, I command him three years ago not to enter upon women, and another person's son is the same age as my son now, and in my opinion he appears upon the private parts of women, so he does not prevent him and does not forbid him. This causes a problem because he is accustomed in his father's house to mean he enters and exits, and his father sees that he is still small, so the problem is here.
Another student: Peace be upon you.

The Shaykh : And upon you be peace, and the mercy of Allah and His blessings.

The questioner: How should we guide our sons when they are at this age?
The student : Peace be upon you, and Allah’s mercy and blessings.

The Shaykh : Welcome.

The questioner: His father may see that he is small, and I may see that he has appeared upon the private parts of women.

The Shaykh: Whoever said that there is no difference between the Salafi and the Khalafi is correct.

The questioner: In Ah... .

The Shaykh: But I think that the bid'ah (religious innovation) is a brotherly innovation and the women approved it, not the men, excuse me, so it went... the important thing, my dear, it is not permissible to impose your opinion on others. There is no difference between you in this observation and another person if he is lenient in the matter with his son. There is no difference. So it must be judged, meaning between you and him. What is the ruling? Is it the age? You will not be able to say it is the age, as evidenced by the fact that you resorted to or deviated from the age when it was put to you. Okay, if you say ten and someone says nine, and perhaps someone precise in the middle says no, nine and a half, and resolve it between you and him, and so on.
The student: We took the ten from the hadith of the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him):
and arrange their beds (to sleep) separately. فرِّقوا بينهم في المضاجع
Sunan Abi Dawud 495Hasan Sahih (Al-Albani)
; that is, we did not take ten arbitrarily, we took ten from another hadith.

The Shaykh: But you left the ten... .
The student: No problem, we adhere to it for now.

The Shaykh: Hehehe.
The student: We adhere to it... that he separates him in the bed. A ten-year-old, the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) specified it, he did not leave it vague.

The Shaykh: My dear, wherever the Messenger specified, specification is obligatory. Where the Messenger did not specify, specification is not obligatory. So our Lord (Mighty and Majestic), as we say in many matters, when He said:
they appear يَظْهَرُوا
how should He solve the problem better than this saying; is that not so?
The student: Yes.

The Shaykh: Or I am mistaken in this expression, I am definitely mistaken.
The student: No, it means... .

The Shaykh: No, I am definitely mistaken, pay attention.
The student: No, you are not mistaken.

The Shaykh: Hehe... I am mistaken when I say that Allah solves the problem better than us. Have you not seen that the sword is diminished in value when it is said that the sword is sharper than the stick? Do you know or not?
The student: I know.

The Shaykh: Ah, he would come out with his hands to solve the problem and say, "Those who have not reached the age of ten," take it as a rule, this is it.
The student: Peace be upon you.

The Shaykh: And upon you peace.
The student: I do not mean that our Lord (Mighty and Majestic) did not specify the age of ten on the tongue of His Messenger, in my opinion, because he may have appeared upon the private parts of women and not reached the age of ten.

The Shaykh: And it may be the opposite.
The student: Yes, but this is very rare, this is in one who has dullness.

The Shaykh: All right.
The student: But if one is normal... .

The Shaykh: My brother, this talk, may Allah guide us and you, does not benefit you. We will return and say, is it better to leave it as Allah left it, whether he appears or not, or to specify it at ten?
The student: All right.

The Shaykh: No, it is not good, it is not good... what is better?
