Explanation that when a camel kneels, the first things it places on the ground are the joints in its front,

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : We say: The first thing it places on the ground when it kneels is the joint in its front, the joint in its front. What is the name of this joint? All scholars of language, hadith, and Prophetic biography are in agreement that these two joints in the front of the camel are the knees. However, the author does not accept this. Listen to his previous statement in full. He said: "When the proponents of this view—meaning those who say there is an error in the second hadith, which is the hadith of Abu Hurayrah:
but should put down his hands before his knees وليضع يديه قبل ركبتيه
Sunan Abi Dawud 840Sahih (Al-Albani)
—what did Ibn al-Qayyim (may Allah have mercy on him) say? He said: 'When the proponents of this view knew that, they said: The camel's knees are in its hands, not in its legs. So when it kneels, it places its knees first. This is what is prohibited.'"
Indeed, Ibn al-Qayyim (may Allah have mercy on him) is narrating the opinion of hadith scholars, language scholars, and others whom we mentioned who say: The camel's knees are in its hands; so when it kneels, it places its knees first. This is what is prohibited.
He refutes this claim from several angles, saying it is flawed for several reasons. One of them is that when a camel kneels, it places its hands first and its legs remain standing. When it rises, it rises with its legs first and its hands remain on the ground. This is what the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) prohibited, and he did the opposite.
Here, the author, Ibn al-Qayyim (may Allah have mercy on him), took another side to address the refutation of those who say the palms are placed before the knees. He left the issue of placing the palms before the knees and took up another phenomenon. This actually requires a demonstration. So make some room for Professor Ali for a moment, let him show you the image that Ibn al-Qayyim means. It is not directed at those who say the hands are placed before the knees. I mean, Ibn al-Qayyim imagines that the indication of the hadith means the prostration of a disabled person. How does a disabled person prostrate?

The questioner : ... .

The Shaykh : Yes, so what is its rear? It is above its head. This is how Ibn al-Qayyim imagines it. Yes, this phenomenon is exactly like a camel kneeling, did you notice how? But this issue is not what we are discussing.
