Clarification that the aforementioned texts also indicate two important matters; the first: their comprehensiveness for everyone to whom they reach until the Day of Resurrection.

The Shaykh : O my dear brothers, these aforementioned texts from the Book and the Sunnah, just as they indicated with absolute clarity the obligation to follow the Sunnah absolutely in everything the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) brought, and that whoever does not refer to them for judgment and submit to them is not a believer; I want to draw your attention to the fact that they indicate, through their generality and absoluteness, two other important matters as well:
The first: that they include everyone to whom the call reaches until the Day of Resurrection, and this is explicit in His saying (Glorified and Exalted is He):
that I may warn you thereby and whomever it reaches لِأُنْذِرَكُمْ بِهِ وَمَنْ بَلَغَ
[Al-An'am 6:19]
, and His saying:
And We have not sent you except comprehensively to mankind as a bringer of good tidings and a warner وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَاكَ إِلَّا كَافَّةً لِلنَّاسِ بَشِيرًا وَنَذِيرًا
[Saba 34:28]
, and the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) explained it by his saying in the hadith:
Every Prophet used to be sent to his nation exclusively but I have been sent to all mankind. وكان النبيُّ يُبعَثُ إلى قومه خاصَّة ، وبُعِثت إلى الناس كافَّة
Sahih al-Bukhari 438
agreed upon by al-Bukhari and Muslim, and his saying:
By Myself in Whose Hand is your soul, no man of this Ummah, nor a Jew, nor a Christian, will hear of me and then not believe in me, except that he will be among the people of the Fire والذي نفسي بيده ، لا يسمع بي رجلٌ من هذه الأمة ولا يهودي ولا نصراني ثم لا يُؤمن بي ؛ إلا كان من أهل النار
narrated by Imam Muslim in his Sahih and Ibn Mando and others, as I have traced it in "Al-Ahadith al-Sahihah" number one hundred and fifty-seven.
