What are the books written on the jurisprudence of the Sunnah? And what are the most famous of them?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : What are the books and topics that a Muslim can read regarding the noble Prophetic Sunnah...?

The Shaykh : The books written on the Sunnah have different specializations. Some are written on rulings. The most concise and accessible of them is the book "Bulugh al-Maram min Ahadith al-Ahkam" by al-Hafiz Ahmad ibn Hajar al-Asqalani. There are commentaries on it, and the easiest and most accessible of those commentaries is "Subul al-Salam Sharh Bulugh al-Maram." "Subul al-Salam" is by the scholar, researcher, and hafiz Muhammad ibn Ismail... There is another commentary on it by Shaykh Muhammad Sadiq Hasan Khan, who was the king of one of the provinces of India known as "Bhopal." So, Muhammad Sadiq Hasan Khan was the King of Bhopal, and he was on the Salafi methodology. His book is better than the previous one because it came later, and he differed on some matters. The previous one, despite its merit, was previously following the Zaydi school of jurisprudence, and some of the effects of that are still clear and evident in its commentary... As for Sadiq Khan, he grew up in a Sunni environment on one hand, and then he followed the path of the Book and the Sunnah; that is, the way of the righteous Salaf. Then there are books that are broader than that. For example, the book "Al-Muntaqa min Akhbar al-Mustafa" by the grandfather of Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah (may Allah have mercy on him). There are commentaries on it, but only the commentary by Imam al-Shawkani, Muhammad ibn Ali al-Shawkani, has been published, which is called "Nail al-Awtar fi Sharh Muntakha al-Akhbar." This is with regard to the jurisprudence of hadith and the hadiths of rulings.
