What is known of the religion by necessity

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question: What is meant by what is known of the religion by necessity? We often hear this phrase. Is it established in every era, or does it vary according to time and place?

Answer: What is established of the religion by necessity is that which is established by definitive evidence, either through mass transmission (mutawatir) or through the definitive consensus (ijma') of the Muslim community, such that one who denies it is considered a disbeliever. And this is like: The obligation of the five daily prayers, zakah, fasting, Hajj, and the pillars of Islam, as well as the prohibition of intoxicants, riba, and unlawful sexual intercourse, and also what is known to be permissible by necessity in the religion of Islam, such as the meat of slaughtered livestock, bread, and the like—whatever its ruling is established by necessity in the religion of Islam
whether it is lawful or forbidden, one who denies this is considered a disbeliever in Allah (Mighty and Majestic) and an apostate from the religion of Islam. This remains the case in every time until the Hour stands, because the rulings of the religion are enduring, established, and continuous from when Allah sent Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) until the Hour stands; they do not change and do not alter.
