Seeing the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in a dream in a form different from his known attributes

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
A questioner asks about the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): (Whoever sees me in a dream has truly seen me, for Satan cannot impersonate me) There are those who see a man and say: I am the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and this man is contrary to what is established regarding him, and he may be engaged in a major sin,And he says: I am the Messenger of Allah, so how do you reconcile the hadith with this dream?

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: (Whoever sees me in a dream has truly seen me, for Satan cannot impersonate me) ,Based on that: If a person sees someone in his dream and it occurs to him that it is the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him and his family),Or heard someone say: that this is the Messenger of Allah, then he must apply what he saw to what he knows of the physical attributes of the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him). If it matches, then it is him; if it contradicts, then it is not him.For example: If he sees a person and his image is not clear to him, then it is not the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). If the image is clear, he must apply it to what he knows of his attributes. If the attribute matches, then it is the Messenger of Allah; if it does not match, then it is not the Messenger of Allah.
