Making up the Witr Prayer

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Honorable Shaykh! A person slept through the Witr prayer. How should he make it up? And at what time: between the adhan and the iqamah, or after the sun rises?
If a person sleeps through the Witr, he should make it up as an even number.Meaning: If his custom is to pray Witr with three rak'ahs, he should pray four; and if his custom is to pray five, he should pray six. From the hadith of Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), who said: (The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), when overcome by pain or sleep, would pray twelve rak'ahs during the day) He should pray these rak'ahs after the sun has risen on the following day,Meaning: after it has risen by the length of a spear.
