Designating a specific portion of the Qur'an in the eclipse prayer

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
What is prescribed from the Qur'an for the eclipse prayer?
In the eclipse prayer, it is not prescribed to recite a specific surah; rather, what is prescribed is to lengthen the recitation. However, if one were to recite, for example, a surah containing many admonitions, the time would be appropriate. Some of our shaykhs recommended reciting Surat al-Isra, because it contains suitable verses,Among them is His saying, the Exalted:
And nothing has prevented Us from sending signs except that the former peoples denied them. And We gave Thamud the she-camel as a visible sign, but they wronged her. And We send not the signs except as a warning.
[al-Isra:59] The important thing is to recite whatever is easy, but to lengthen the recitation, as the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did.
