Clarifying the disagreement of Shaykh al-Islam with the four Imams on certain issues

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Regarding the issues in which Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah (may Allah have mercy on him) disagreed with the four Imams, is there no book written on them?
Yes.
There is. Some scholars have compiled them, and they number more than twenty issues. However, he (may Allah have mercy on him) did not disagree with them in the sense that he departed from all their opinions. Rather, he departed from the well-known of their opinions. You will find that when he chooses an opinion, it must have a basis, especially with Imam Ahmad (may Allah have mercy on him). But the opinion he adopts is not well-known, so one might think that he disagreed with the four Imams.
