Stirring up thereby [clouds of] dust,

فَأَثَرْنَ بِهِ نَقْعاً

[Al-Adiyat: 4] Meaning: They stirred up dust with this enemy and this raid (dust): which is the dust that rises from the intensity of the running, for when the horses run and their galloping on the ground becomes intense, dust arises from their charging and fleeing.
