The Ruling on Restricting the Call to the Oneness of Lordship

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
What is the ruling on one who restricts his call to people to the oneness of lordship and does not speak about the other types of the oneness of Allah, but speaks about the virtues of deeds? And when he is discussed in that, he says: People do not benefit from your speech regarding the oneness of Allah, and we want to guide people to good deeds, and we want to guide people to the gates of goodness, so what is your opinion on this?
One who restricts himself to establishing the oneness of lordship without the oneness of worship and the oneness of the names and attributes is undoubtedly deficient or negligent. The oneness of lordship does not suffice in place of the oneness of worship. If it had sufficed in place of the oneness of worship, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would not have fought the polytheists during his time; because the polytheists during his time acknowledged the oneness of lordship,Allah the Exalted said:
And if you asked them who created them, they would surely say, "Allah."وَلَئِنْ سَأَلْتَهُمْ مَنْ خَلَقَهُمْ لَيَقُولُنَّ اللَّهُ
[Surat al-Zukhruf: 87] And Allah the Exalted said
And if you asked them, "Who created the heavens and earth?" they would surely say, "Allah."وَلَئِنْ سَأَلْتَهُمْ مَنْ خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ لَيَقُولُنَّ اللَّهُ
[Surat al-Zumar: 38] So they acknowledge lordship and know that Allah (Mighty and Majestic) is the sole Lord with no partner, but they do not acknowledge the oneness of worship,So they used to say:
Has He made the gods one God? This is indeed something astonishingأَجَعَلَ الْآلِهَةَ إِلَهاً وَاحِداً إِنَّ هَذَا لَشَيْءٌ عُجَابٌ
[Surat Sad: 5] .
It is necessary to establish the oneness of lordship, and to establish the oneness of worship, and to establish the oneness of the names and attributes when it is needed.
This is necessary.
And there is no doubt that mentioning the virtues of deeds stirs the soul and makes it desire righteous deeds, but if a person has righteous deeds and is deficient in the oneness of Allah, on what does he build his righteous deeds? The oneness of Allah is the foundation. For this reason, the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) said to Mu'adh ibn Jabal (may Allah be pleased with him) when he sent him to Yemen: (Let the first thing you call them to be the testimony that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah), so it is necessary to establish and verify the oneness of lordship and to establish and verify the oneness of worship. Have you seen if a person believes in the lordship of Allah (Mighty and Majestic) with complete faith, but he prostrates to an idol or to a close friend of Allah,Do we say: Is this a monotheist? No.

We say: This is a polytheist. Allah has forbidden Paradise for him, and his abode is the Fire.
