The invalidity of the maxim of one who commits sins and says: "The religion is easy"

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Q

His Eminence the Shaykh: As for many of the general public, they commit errors,If they are told: Why is this? They said: "The religion is easy," what does easy mean? Is the most important thing that you do not associate anything with Allah, and the rest is easy?
This statement is wrong,Meaning: For a person to say: I will do whatever I want as long as I am a monotheist, and the religion is easy,We say: If you do not establish the religion, where is the religion that you have until you say: the religion is easy,And the meaning of "the religion is easy": What Allah has made a religion for the servants does not contain hardship; there is no hardship in the prayer, no hardship in the ablution, no hardship in the full ritual bath, and if there is hardship, the person moves to another level. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to 'Imran ibn Husayn: (Pray standing, and if you cannot, then sit, and if you cannot, then on your side) This is what we mean when we say: the religion is easy, but to leave some of the obligatory acts and violate some of the forbidden things and say: the religion is easy, this is wrong;Because we say: What you did is not religion at all.
