Exegesis of Verses from Surat al-Mutaffifin
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, and upon his family and his Companions, and upon those who follow them with excellence until the Day of Judgment.
To proceed: On this day, Thursday, the eleventh of the month of Muharram, 1414 AH, we open the second meeting of this month, and we ask Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) to make it like the previous meetings, a meeting of good, blessing, and beneficial knowledge.
We have decided to continue this session despite the fact that this week is the week of exams, and both teachers and students may be occupied with them. However, we like it when a person, if he does a deed, he persists in it, as is the way of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him); for the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was among his ways that if he did a deed, he persisted in it and continued with it, except in the presence of a legal impediment. For this reason, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: (The most beloved deeds to Allah are those that are consistent, even if they are few).
