Exegesis of the saying of Allah the Exalted: (And it is not a plaything)]

Allah the Exalted said:
And it is not amusement.وَمَا هُوَ بِالْهَزْلِ
[al-Tariq: 14] Meaning: And it is not play, frivolity, or idle talk, but rather it is the truth. All of its words are truth, its reports are veracity, its rulings are justice, and its recitation is a reward. If a person were to recite it at all times, he would not grow weary of it. And if he recites it with reflection and contemplation, Allah opens to him meanings that he did not have before. This is something observed: read the Qur'an and reflect upon it; every time you read it and reflect upon it, you will attain meanings from it that you did not attain before. All of this is because it is distinct and not a plaything. But the idle talk of people, whenever you repeat it, you dislike it and grow bored of it. As for the Book of Allah, its reader does not grow weary of it.
