The questioner : He said: "or an attribute of His attributes, or took".

The Shaykh : And his saying: "even if joking" means even if one is joking. In fact, as we have explained, the joker may be more severe than the serious one, because he combined disbelief with mocking Allah (Mighty and Majestic). Yes. So if someone mocks the religion and says, "I did not intend anything but joking and laughter," we say that you have committed disbelief. If you are sincere, repent to Allah (Mighty and Majestic), perform ghusl, and return to Islam. Repentance wipes out what came before it. Yes.

The questioner : He said: "Whoever associates partners with Allah, or denies His lordship or His oneness, or an attribute of His attributes, or takes for Him a wife or a son, or claims prophethood, or believes one who claims it, or denies a prophet or a book from the books of Allah or something from it, or denies the angels or the resurrection, or insults Allah".

The Shaykh : Be patient. Well, I think most of this has already passed us by in the main text.

The questioner : Yes, indeed.

The Shaykh : Yes.
