The Ruling on Clapping and Whistling

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
What is the ruling on clapping and whistling, and what type of whistling is forbidden, and what is the evidence for the prohibition?

Now if you stood up and clapped and whistled, what would we say: Is this person insane or sane?! So what is the reason for clapping and whistling? As for clapping for a person who is distinguished from others by his success, or who gave a correct answer, or something similar to that, I see no harm in it. As for whistling, I dislike it with an inherent dislike. And I cannot say: It is disliked by religious law, because I do not have evidence for it.And as for the saying of the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him): (If something happens to you in your prayer, then let the men make dhikr and the women clap) This is in prayer. And as for His saying (the Exalted):
And their prayer at the House was not except whistling and handclappingوَمَا كَانَ صَلاتُهُمْ عِنْدَ الْبَيْتِ إِلَّا مُكَاءً وَتَصْدِيَةً
[Al-Anfal: 35] And al-makaa' is whistling. And al-tasdiyyah: Clapping. These people were at the Sacred Mosque worshipping Allah with that. Instead of bowing and prostrating, they clapped and whistled.
As for a person who sees someone excel over others and wants to encourage him and claps, I see no harm in that. As for whistling, I dislike it with an inherent dislike, and I do not have evidence. If a person asked me for evidence,So I cannot say: I have evidence.
