Exegesis of Verses from Surat al-Najm

Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and I send prayers and peace upon our Prophet Muhammad, the Seal of the Prophets and the Imam of the righteous, and upon his family and his Companions, and those who follow them with excellence until the Day of Judgment.
To proceed: This is the sixty-ninth session of the open sessions, the Open Door sessions, in which we ask Allah (Blessed and Exalted is He) to place good and blessing. They take place every Thursday, and this Thursday is the sixth of the month of Rajab, 1418 AH.
Before we begin the topic of the lesson, we offer thanks to Allah (Mighty and Majestic) for His blessings and grace with this abundant rain and this strong, comprehensive downpour. We ask Allah the Exalted to place good and blessing in it, and to quench the hearts with knowledge and faith, for He is capable of all things.
