Exegesis of Verses from Surat al-Najm

We begin this gathering, which we hope Allah will make blessed, with what we have always used to open our gatherings, which is speaking about some of the noble verses. This is because every Muslim should take care of the Book of Allah (Mighty and Majestic), read it recitively and at a leisurely pace, and reflect upon its verses, for Allah revealed it for this purpose.Allah the Exalted said: [Surah Sad: 29] Therefore, reflection is necessary—Meaning: understanding the meaning—Then comes the remembrance, meaning: and drawing a lesson from it.
We have chosen the Tafsir of al-Mufassal because people often hear it recited by the imams in the prayers.
[This is] a blessed Book which We have revealed to you, [O Muhammad], that they might reflect upon its verses and that those of understanding would be reminded.
كِتَابٌ أَنْزَلْنَاهُ إِلَيْكَ مُبَارَكٌ لِيَدَّبَّرُوا آيَاتِهِ وَلِيَتَذَكَّرَ أُولُو الْأَلْبَابِWe have chosen the Tafsir of al-Mufassal because people often hear it recited by the imams in the prayers.
