The Need of the Caller to Wisdom in Da'wah

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
And among what is obligatory upon the student of knowledge: That when he calls people to Allah (Mighty and Majestic), he should possess insight and wisdom, placing things in their proper positions. Sometimes, the good in calling a certain group is to encourage them toward good without mentioning the threat of punishment. Other times, the good with a certain group is to mention the threat of punishment to them so that they repent to Allah and turn back from what they are upon. Thus, every occasion has its own appropriate speech.
So when a person employs wisdom in his call to Allah (Mighty and Majestic), it has a great and profound effect.
And it should be known that the more a person acts upon his knowledge, the more Allah increases him in knowledge.Allah the Exalted said:
And those who are guided - He increases them in guidance and gives them their righteousness.وَالَّذِينَ اهْتَدَوْا زَادَهُمْ هُدىً وَآتَاهُمْ تَقْوَاهُمْ
[Muhammad:17] .

And in the athar (report): (Whoever acts upon what he knows, Allah will cause him to inherit knowledge of what he did not know) .

And it was said:
Knowledge calls out to action; if he responds to it, it remains, otherwise it departs.
We ask Allah for you and for us success in what is good and righteous, and that He make us leaders in guidance and reform. Indeed, He is capable of all things.
