Exegesis of the saying of Allah the Exalted: (It uproots the people as if they were the uprooted trunks of date palms)]

His statement:
Extracting the people as if they were trunks of palm trees uprooted.
[Surah al-Qamar: 20] .

His statement:
It uproots the peopleتَنزِعُ النَّاسَ
Meaning: It seizes them with severity and strength and lifts them into the sky—may Allah grant us safety—until some of them said: It lifts them until the person disappears from view due to their height, then it throws them to the ground. When they fall to the ground, they fall on the tops of their heads, and then the head separates from the body due to the severity of the impact.

His statement:
Extracting the people as if they wereتَنزِعُ النَّاسَ كَأَنَّهُمْ
[Al-Qamar 54:20]
In the state of their falling to the ground
trunks of palm trees uprooted.
[Al-Qamar 54:20]
(uprooted trunks) Meaning: roots, and date palms are well known, and al-munqa'ir: the one that has fallen from its root,Meaning: as if they were date palms that fell from their roots and their trunks remained. Why did they become like date palm trunks? Because they had no heads, as the exegetes said, since their heads had separated from their bodies due to the severity of the impact. So, glory to the Mighty, the Majestic. These strong, powerful people reached this state by a wind from Allah, the Exalted and Majestic
(20) Extracting the people as if they were trunks of palm trees uprooted. (21) And how [severe] were My punishment and warning.
[Surah al-Qamar: 20-21] .

Here he said:
as if they were trunks of palm trees uprooted.
[Surah al-Qamar: 20] ,and in al-Haqqah:
as if they were hollow trunks of palm trees.
[Surah al-Haqqah: 7] and the meaning is close, but among the eloquence of the Qur'an is that the speech in it follows a single pattern,so there:
as if they were hollow trunks of palm trees.
[Surah al-Haqqah: 7] is appropriate for the rhyming endings in al-Haqqah,and as for here:
as if they were trunks of palm trees uprooted.
[Surah al-Qamar: 20] so it is appropriate for the rhyming endings in Surah al-Qamar, because the coherence and consistency of the speech are part of the perfection of its eloquence.

His statement:
(16) And how [severe] were My punishment and warning. (17) And We have certainly made the Qur'an easy for remembrance, so is there any who will remember?
[Surah al-Qamar: 21-22] Allah the Exalted repeated this at the end of every story so that we strive to remember, reflect upon, and understand the Qur'an; because it has been made easy, and the sentence is affirmed by three affirmations: the oath, the lam, and qad, which indicate encouragement to remember the Qur'an and to be reminded by it
so is there any who will remember?
[Surah al-Qamar: 22] .
We ask Allah, the Exalted and Majestic, to make us and you among those who remember the Book of Allah, the Exalted and Majestic. Indeed, He is capable of all things.
