The Shaykh Al-Albani’s explanation that modern science today has led many disbelievers to faith in Allah and that there is a Creator of this universe.

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : If you know with me that in every era there are people, and particularly in our time, people who have used their intellects to realize that this universe, especially after they discovered the subtle wisdom and divine management within it, was compelled to believe that this universe has a Creator. These are disbelievers, but they engaged their minds, benefited from their sciences, and studied the world of the heavens and the world of nature, as they call it, the animals on land and in the sea. They found such precise and wondrous management that they were compelled to submit to the fact that this universe has one Creator with no partner. These are some of the scientists of nature. But these people do not worship Allah; they do not testify that Allah is One in His worship as they testify that He is One in His creation.
when it was said to them, "There is no deity but Allah," were arrogant
[As-Saffat 37:35]
,
They are arrogant
, they said:
Has He made the gods one God? Indeed, this is something extraordinary.
,
We have not heard of this among our forefathers.
[Al-Mu'minun 23:24]
,
And those who took
,
And those who take protectors besides Him [say], "We only worship them that they may bring us nearer to Allah in position."
[Az-Zumar 39:3]
; so they worship, not that they do not worship, but they worship gods other than Allah (Mighty and Majestic). And Allah (Mighty and Majestic) in this eloquent verse, for it contains a condensation of speech,
And those who take protectors besides Him
[Az-Zumar 39:3]
.

The questioner : Shaykh Nasser, if...

The Shaykh
And those who take protectors besides Him
[Az-Zumar 39:3]
What?
We only worship them that they may bring us nearer to Allah in position
[Az-Zumar 39:3]
, where is the condensation between the first and the last sentence?
And those who take protectors besides Him [say], "We only worship them وَالَّذِينَ اتَّخَذُوا مِنْ دُونِهِ أَوْلِيَاءَ مَا نَعْبُدُهُمْ
[Az-Zumar 39:3]
, it is the second sentence here that is condensed:
And those who take protectors besides Him
[Az-Zumar 39:3]
If they are asked, "Why do you worship other than Allah when you believe that He is One with no partner in His creation?"... they said:
We only worship them that they may bring us nearer to Allah in position
[Az-Zumar 39:3]
So these polytheists are monotheists in one aspect, which is called tawhid al-rububiyyah (oneness of lordship), but they are polytheists in another aspect. What is the shirk (associating partners with Allah) in which they associate partners? They associate partners in al-uluhiyyah (oneness of worship), in worship. And therefore they denied, they affirmed
when it was said to them, "There is no deity but Allah," were arrogant

; so they disbelieved in tawhid al-uluhiyyah (oneness of worship), they disbelieved in the oneness of worship. So they worship others along with Allah, but in lordship, He alone has no partner.
