Leaving the mosque with the intention of returning shortly does not require the greeting of the mosque

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Your Eminence! I entered the mosque and prayed two rak'ahs as the greeting of the mosque, then I left with the intention of returning. If I return, am I required to pray two rak'ahs?
If a person leaves the mosque with the intention of returning, and he returns shortly, he does not pray the greeting of the mosque. For example, if he leaves to perform wudu' and returns, or leaves to bring a book from his house and returns, or leaves to speak to a person and returns, he does not pray; because the time is short. However, if the time is long, let him pray two rak'ahs. All of us, when we pray the midday prayer, leave the mosque with the intention of returning for the afternoon prayer,So do we say, when we return for the afternoon prayer: Do we not pray? No.
We pray.
The important point is that if it is for a task that he will return from shortly, then he does not pray, being content with the first one.
And the evidence is that the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) permitted the one in i'tikaf to leave for his need to his house and then return. This indicates that a brief departure is not considered leaving the mosque. So this person who left the mosque with the intention of returning shortly is as if he did not leave it.
