The obligation toward those who practice and invite people to celebrate the Mawlid

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
One of the preachers in last Friday's prayer explained to the people after the sermon that they are preparing to celebrate this religious innovation in one of the neighboring states in our country. What is our obligation toward them, given that we are strangers in that region?
If you can stand up for Allah by clarifying that this is not right, and praise be to Allah, the evidence that celebrating the Mawlid is a religious innovation is very easy.Because you can, with great ease, say: My brother! Did the Messenger do it? Did the Caliphs do it? Did the Companions do it? Did the Tabi'un do it? Did the four Imams do it?If he says: Yes.

Say: Bring the evidence.
(If people were given what they claim, men would claim the blood and wealth of the people) Bring the evidence. If he says: I have no evidence, but everyone is doing it.Say: The practice of people is not evidence. How many religious innovations have people followed, and they are innovations? If there is no evidence—neither the Messenger did it, nor the Caliphs, nor the Companions, nor the Tabi'un, nor the Imams—then it is definitely invalid. Because what made them not do it and not guide people to it? Are they ignorant or arrogant? And if you say this, you have invalidated it from its root.
