Exegesis of the saying of Allah the Exalted: (Hoor confined in the tents)
Allah the Exalted said: [Ar-Rahman: 72] The hoor is the beautiful one who is beautiful in all her creation, and especially the eye, which is intensely white, intensely black, wide, and round, being of the finest kind. (Confined) means: hidden. (In the tents) is the plural of khaymah, and the khaymah is known; it is a structure with a pillar and corridors. However, the khaymah in the Hereafter is not like the khaymah in this world; it is a khaymah of pearl, its length in the sky being very high, and those inside it are visible from outside. Do not ask about its beauty and loveliness. These hoor are confined, hidden in these tents, in the most perfect state of coquetry and enjoyment. [Ar-Rahman: 73]
