Advice for one who engages in what is forbidden

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
O Shaykh! Regarding an employee or worker who is with us, some of them shave their beards and others have patchy hair. You advise them, but they do not listen. Do you repeat the advice to him until he stops?
If a person is in a job and is with people who shave their beards or let their garments hang below the ankles, then he must advise them. He must advise them to the best of his ability. It is not forbidden for him to remain in this job because they are not doing what is forbidden in front of him; rather, what is in front of him is the effects of what is forbidden, not what is forbidden itself. Therefore, we say regarding the issue of smoking: If they do not refrain from smoking, and I think it is prohibited by regulation in government offices, but suppose a person does not care, then it is not permissible for you to remain with him if he is smoking during work hours; because by doing so, you are participating with him in the sin.
