The ruling on food remnants between the teeth during prayer and the ruling on touching the mushaf without ritual purity

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Your Eminence! What is the ruling on food remnants between the teeth during prayer? And what is the ruling on touching the mushaf without ritual purity? The Shaykh: As for food remnants on the teeth, there is nothing wrong if they remain between the teeth, even if a person prays. However, if something detaches from them, he should not swallow it. Sometimes something remains between the teeth and then comes out after a while, or perhaps he moves it with his tongue and it comes out.We say: This is permissible, but he should not swallow it.

As for touching the mushaf, the stronger position is the view of the majority: that it is not permissible to touch the mushaf except with wudu'. If one needs to read from the mushaf and is not in a state of wudu', he should wear gloves or place a handkerchief over the mushaf so that he does not touch it directly.
