Ruling on paying zakah in installments to a man who does not manage it well

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
A man wants to pay the zakah of his wealth, and he has a relative who is among the recipients of zakah, but this relative does not manage money well; if he were given what would suffice him for a month, he would spend it in a week. Is it permissible for the one paying zakah to keep the money with him, even for several months, and spend it on his relative according to his needs?
If he has guardianship over this relative, there is nothing wrong with it. If he does not have guardianship over him, he should give him what he needs for a short period and distribute the rest to other poor people.
