The Shaykh’s advice to the attendees to refrain from extravagance and excess in construction and similar matters.

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : And so, I am seizing this opportunity to say: I see that this honor you have shown us tonight involves wastefulness and squandering of money. I hope you will not honor us again with such Hatimi generosity, for you, like us, are eager to stay away from places of disobedience.
The student : Our Shaykh, by Allah, they impose it on us. Do you know who? I mean, we hear the mother hearing, for example, that there are people saying, “I want to send [a gift],” and then they approve. It is not just us who are preparing it; so-and-so sent, and so-and-so sent, and so-and-so sent.
Another student: A good exit, our Shaykh.
Another student: Truly, this happens with us, and by Allah, it becomes something that was not in one’s mind, but, glory be to Allah, it ends up being more than what we intended, truly.

The Shaykh : In any case, this matter could be delved into in detail, but not in this atmosphere, not in this place, heh heh.The student : The topic of children.
