The Standard for Extravagance

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
We hear that extravagance varies from person to person, depending on the wealth they possess, whether they are a merchant or rich?
This is correct. Extravagance is a relative matter; it does not pertain to the act itself, but to the person performing it.For example: If a poor woman wears jewelry worth the same as that of a rich woman, is she being extravagant? If a rich woman wore this jewelry, we would say: There is no extravagance in that. And if a poor woman wore it, we would say: There is extravagance in it. In fact, people also differ in what constitutes extravagance in eating and drinking: a person may be poor,Meaning: Some people are satisfied with a small meal, while others are not. Also, it differs in that a person may have a guest and honor them with food he does not usually eat in his own home, and this would not be considered extravagance.
So the important point is that extravagance pertains to the doer, not the act itself, because people differ in this regard.
Until we meet again, if Allah wills.
