Is there a contradiction between the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) approving Abu Bakr when he gave away all his wealth, and not approving 'Umar?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : Regarding the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), he approved of Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) when he brought all his wealth, but he did not approve of our master Sa'd when he wanted to give away his wealth. He said:
One-third, and one-third is a lot. الثلث ، والثلث كثير
So, is there a contradiction between the two incidents?

The Shaykh : No, there is no contradiction.

The questioner : It is understood from this that a person is permitted to give away more than all his wealth; that is prescribed for him.

The Shaykh : Not every person.

The questioner : Yes.

The Shaykh : Not every person, in matters concerning himself.

The questioner: Yes.

The Shaykh : Some people give away all their wealth and then regret it, because they did not give out of a strong impulse of faith, but out of a passionate emotion that does not think about the consequences. Then there is another person who gives out of strong faith, not as a rush from that blind emotion, but he did not consider that he left behind weak offspring who are not like him in faith, such that if he did not leave for them what protects them and supports them after his death, they might suffer some deviation and an increase in the weakness of their faith. Therefore, the matter differs from person to person, and from one set of offspring to another.

The questioner: Yes.
