The story of the man who killed a hundred souls.

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) related to us the story of a man from the Children of Israel who killed ninety-nine souls, ninety-nine souls. He came to a man of worship, meaning a man devoted to worship, and said to him, "I have killed ninety-nine souls; is there any repentance for me?" The worshipper considered this sin great and said, "There is no repentance for you." He said, "Complete the hundred for me," so he killed him. So how many did he kill now? A hundred. See how the punishment for compounded ignorance is: this worshipper became one with compounded ignorance, not one with simple ignorance.
