On what do Muslims agree?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
As for commenting on the call to truth mentioned by our brother Abu Anas, regarding the call by Islamic parties or groups to unite and meet, this is, as they say, a matter in which two people should not differ, nor should two rams butt heads. However, the important matter on this occasion is to mention the binding tie that all Islamic parties and groups must submit to. Among this is the saying of Allah the Exalted:
And if you disagree over anything, refer it to Allah and the Messenger, if you should believe in Allah and the Last Day. That is the best [way] and best in result. فإن تنازعتم في شيء فردوه إلى الله والرسول إن كنتم تؤمنون بالله واليوم الآخر ذلك خير وأحسن تأويلا
[An-Nisa 4:59]
. Therefore, it is obligatory that when we call for unity and the abandonment of division and discord, we qualify this by meeting all together on one school of thought in which there is no difference, namely the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). The Book and the Sunnah are what our Messenger (may Allah's prayers and peace be upon him) linked to the happiness of this world and the Hereafter, and to guidance to what contains the life of the Muslim community, in the well-known hadith, which is his saying (peace and blessings be upon him):
I have left with you two things by which you will not go astray as long as you hold fast to them: the Book of Allah and my Sunnah. They will not separate until they return to me at the Pond. تركت فيكم أمرين لن تضلوا ما إن تمسكتم بهما كتاب الله وسنتي ولن يتفرقا حتى يردا عليّ الحوض
. This is what I wanted to clarify on the occasion of the sermon you heard. We ask Allah (Mighty and Majestic) to benefit us all with it.
