A man with kidney failure who believes he is able to make up his missed fasts from Ramadan

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : He says: Noble Shaykh, a man has kidney failure. He believes he is able to make up the fasts of Ramadan that he owes. But he is unable to fast in the week except for one day, which is Friday of every week, since it is the only day he is not occupied. On Thursday he performs dialysis, and the rest of the week he studies. He is only able to fast on Friday. Is it permissible for him to fast it individually, or should he wait until the summer vacation to fast?

The Shaykh : Yes. What I see is that he should wait until the summer vacation, because making up Ramadan is given leeway. A person may delay it until there remains in Sha'ban an amount equal to the fasts he owes. As for fasting on Friday, it is permissible if it is for a reason. However, if it is not for a reason, it is disliked to single it out, because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)
He entered upon one of his wives while she was fasting on Friday. He said, "Did you fast yesterday?" She said, "No." He said, "Will you fast tomorrow?" She said, "No." He said, "Then break your fast." دخل على إحدى نسائه وهي صائمة يوم الجمعة. فقال أصمتي أمس؟ قالت : لا. قال : أتصومين غدا؟ قالت لا، قال فأفطري
. So he ordered her to break her fast so that she would not single out Friday. Likewise, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) forbade singling out Friday for fasting or the night of Friday for standing in prayer. But suppose the situation is that a person needs to fast that day, or he fasts on Friday not because it is Friday, but because it coincides with the Day of 'Arafah or the Day of 'Ashura, then there is no blame on him, because he did not fast Friday because it is Friday. Rather, it is because it is the Day of 'Arafah or the Day of 'Ashura, or something similar. Yes.
