Is the prayer valid in a mosque whose imam calls upon the dead, writes amulets, and writes incense papers, which are small papers burned in fire and inhaled by the patient, and we do not know

The questioner : Is the prayer valid in a mosque whose imam calls upon the dead, writes amulets, and writes incense papers, which are small papers burned in fire and inhaled by the patient, and we do not know what they contain, and he claims the patient is insane and demands that he be given a sum of money in the event of recovery? And if it is not permissible to pray behind this imam, is the prayer valid at home for a neighbor of the mosque? We ask you for guidance?

The Shaykh : He mentioned in his question that he calls upon the dead.

The questioner : Yes.

The Shaykh : And calling upon the dead alone is sufficient to negate all the characteristics mentioned that he referred to, because calling upon the dead is major shirk (associating partners with Allah) that expels one from the religion and is disbelief in Allah (Mighty and Majestic). Allah the Exalted said:
And your Lord says, "Call upon Me; I will respond to you." Indeed, those who disdain My worship will enter Hell [rendered] contemptible.
[Ghafir 40:60]
Thus, Allah the Exalted made supplication an act of worship, and directing worship to other than Allah the Exalted is shirk (associating partners with Allah). And He said the Exalted:
And whoever invokes besides Allah another deity for which he has no proof - then his account is only with his Lord. Indeed, the disbelievers will not succeed.
[Al-Mu'minun 23:117]
Thus, Allah the Exalted made that a disbeliever, and He informed that he will not succeed, so he will not attain his desire nor be saved from his fear by calling upon anyone other than Allah (Mighty and Majestic).
And calling upon anyone other than Allah the Exalted, whether the dead or the living, is foolishness and misguidance, as Allah the Exalted said:
(5) And who is more astray than he who invokes besides Allah those who will not respond to him until the Day of Resurrection, and they, of their invocation, are unaware. (6) And when the people are gathered [that Day], they [who were invoked] will be enemies to them, and they will be deniers of their worship.
[Al-Ahqaf 46:5-6]
And such an imam is not permissible to pray behind, because his prayer is not valid, rather it is invalid (batil) because he associates partners with Allah (Mighty and Majestic). And whoever associates partners with Allah is a disbeliever, and every disbeliever’s worship is invalid and rejected, due to the saying of Allah the Exalted:
And We will regard what they have done of deeds and make them as dust dispersed.
[Al-Furqan 25:23]
And His saying (Mighty and Majestic):
And what prevents their expenditures from being accepted from them but that they have disbelieved in Allah and in His Messenger
[At-Tawbah 9:54]
And I direct advice to this imam whom I mentioned; I direct to him the advice that he repent to Allah (Mighty and Majestic) from calling upon other than Allah and from deceiving the servants of Allah (Mighty and Majestic) with what he writes for them of vows that have no basis in the Book of Allah, nor in the Sunnah of His Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him), nor in the practice of the righteous predecessors (may Allah be pleased with them). So he should make use of his life and repent to Allah and turn to Him while he is in the time of respite. Yes.

The questioner : A message arrived from Salah al-Masri, residing in Iraq, who says.
