Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : You mentioned that the follower is in the same ruling; what is the evidence for this?

The Shaykh : Because he followed the imam, so the imam, yes.

The questioner : So if someone passes in front of him, he does not break his prayer?

The Shaykh : He does not break his prayer, except in the case where he is able to cover himself with the previously mentioned condition.

The questioner : Our Shaykh, if someone comes close and sits in front of him, meaning to serve as a sutrah for him, is this considered passing in front of the one praying?

The Shaykh : So what?

The questioner : It is considered passing in front of the one praying, meaning is this action permissible?

The Shaykh : Between him, between the one praying and the one sitting, is there passing or not?

The questioner : The one praying did not have a sutrah in front of him, the prayer ended, and a man came to be a sutrah for this man!

The Shaykh : This one did not pass, this is the one who sat.

The questioner: Yes.

The Shaykh : To be a sutrah for him, this is not considered passing.

The questioner: Yes.

The Shaykh : This is a good matter, from the perspective of cooperating in good.
