The mursal report of a young Tabi'i, such as al-Zuhri and Qatadah: if it is transmitted through another weak chain, does one strengthen the other?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : The mursal report of a young Tabi'i, such as al-Zuhri and Qatadah: if it is transmitted through another weak chain, does one strengthen the other?

The Shaykh : In our view, there is no difference between a young Tabi'i and an older one. A mursal report is mursal, even if it is possible that it is munqati'. If a report is found that supports it as musnad, even if it is weak, the rule applies in its general form.
