What is the meaning of the hadith: "When you leave your home, pray two rak'ahs that will protect you from the exit of evil"?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : I read in the book "Al-Sahihah", part such-and-such, page such-and-such, that he (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
When you leave your home, pray two rak'ahs that will protect you from the exit of evil, and when you enter your home, pray two rak'ahs that will protect you from the entry of evil. إذا خرجت من منزلك فصل ركعتين يمنعانك من مخرج السوء، فإذا دخلت إلى منزلك فصل ركعتين يمنعانك من مدخل السوء
Is this for travel or for staying in one's place, and is it to be done continuously?
The answer is that it appears to be for travel and not for staying in one's place. And if it is for travel, then naturally it is not to be done continuously.
There is a question here.
