The Shaykh : Therefore, some scholars of hadith who combined hadith and fiqh authored books called "books of takhrij." This is a book of takhrij for Hanafi fiqh: "Nasb al-Ra'yah li-Ahadiith al-Hidayah" by al-Hafiz Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani. It is a very useful book titled "al-Takhliis al-Habir fi Takhrij Ahadiith al-Rafi'i al-Kabir," which provides the takhrij for a book of Shafi'i fiqh. It also clarifies what is authentic and what is not. The books in this field—and praise be to Allah—are numerous. Among the most famous is a book by al-Hafiz al-Iraqi, who was one of the teachers of al-Hafiz al-Asqalani mentioned earlier. Al-Hafiz al-Iraqi authored a book on the takhrij of "Ihya' 'Ulum al-Din" by Imam al-Ghazali, and he gave it a name that contains a peculiarity... He said: "al-Mughni 'an Haml al-Asfar fi al-Asfar fi Takhrij ma fi al-Ihya' min al-Akhabar."
