The Shaykh : There is a distinction in this. If the woman is in her home with her mahrams and there is no strange man present, she may recite aloud, because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: . However, if there is a strange man who can hear her voice, she should raise her voice only to the extent that she can hear herself, and not so that those far from her can hear.
