Is it permissible for a Muslim to act the role of a disbeliever, thereby insulting the religion or swearing by al-Lat, under the pretext of acting out a scene from the Sirah?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : Is it permissible for a person to act the role of a Muslim as a disbeliever, swearing by al-Lat or cursing Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), under the pretext of acting or under the pretext of acting out a scene from the Sirah?

The Shaykh : Certainly, this matter is not permissible in any way. In fact, if the question were whether acting itself is permissible without this disbelief, the answer would be that it is not permissible. How much more so when the question involves portraying disbelief.
It is true that the matter is as the scholars said: "The one who conveys disbelief is not a disbeliever". The one who performs the job or profession of acting with the words of a disbeliever is not compelled to perform this act of acting. Therefore, let him speak the word of disbelief, because the original issue of this acting, in reality, and we are very sorry about it,
Muslims have become entangled in it and imitated the disbelievers who do not forbid what Allah and His Messenger have forbidden. They took up the profession of acting, imitating the disbelievers, without considering the violations of the Islamic Shari'ah that may result from engaging in such a profession, such as imitating the disbelievers by men imitating women, and perhaps the free mixing of women and men in some acts. All of this is not permissible in the religion of Islam. As for those imitators, those Europeans whom we imitate, they have nothing called halal or haram. From this, the great heedlessness of the Muslims becomes apparent, who are running after the disbelievers without distinguishing the difference between them, that is, between the Muslims and those disbelievers whom they imitate, and others.
