Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : But before we enter this topic, we would like to ask: What are the rulings that follow the death of a husband before he has intercourse with his wife?
The student: Inheritance.

The Shaykh : The establishment of inheritance.
The student: And she observes the waiting period.

The Shaykh : The establishment of the waiting period.
The student: She is entitled to the bridal gift.

The Shaykh : The establishment of the full bridal gift. Well done. Rest now.
That is, if a man contracts marriage with a woman and dies, these rulings are established:
First: She inherits from him a full inheritance.
Second: She is entitled to the full mahr, the full bridal gift.
Third: She must observe the waiting period, because we mentioned that the issue of death is not like the issue of life.

The questioner : What does she observe the waiting period for?

The Shaykh : It is known that if she has a waiting period, she must observe the mourning period.
