A man who does not pray Fajr in the mosque except rarely: what is the advice for him and how is the solution in this matter?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : May Allah reward the honorableThe Shaykh : I have an old problem, which is that I try to pray the Fajr prayer in the mosque, but I do not pray it except after days have passed. My problem is that I wake up from sleep, but I do not get up and go to perform wudu. I have been in this state for years. So what is your advice to me, and what is the solution in this, especially in days like these?

The Shaykh : Yes, my advice to this questioner and to anyone in his situation is to sleep early, because sleeping early enables a person to get up for the Fajr prayer with energy. As for one who does not sleep until after twelve, how can he get up for the Fajr prayer with energy? Then, when he wakes up, he should get up quickly. In *Sahih Muslim*, it is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that she described the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) getting up from his sleep. She said:
And he sprang up فوثب
. The narrator said regarding Aisha: "By Allah, she did not say 'he got up'", but rather she said "he sprang up". It was as if the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was getting up with energy and strength. As for finding that when you hear the alarm, the alarm clock, or someone saying to you, "Get up, so-and-so," you roll around in your bed, and if you are covered, you pull the blanket to cover your head as well, then you are not likely to get up. So strive to ensure that as soon as you hear the alarm that wakes you, whether it is a person or a clock, you get up quickly. If you get up quickly, seeking help from Allah the Mighty and Majestic, Allah will help you. Then remember Allah the Mighty and Majestic, then supplicate to Allah, Blessed and Exalted is He, for whatever you desire of the good of this world and the Hereafter. Then recite:
Indeed, in the creation of the heavens and the earth and the alternation of the night and the day are signs for those of understanding. إِنَّ فِي خَلْقِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَاخْتِلَافِ اللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ لَآيَاتٍ لِأُولِي الْأَلْبَابِ
[Ali 'Imran 3:190]
the ten verses at the end of Surat al-Imran. Then wipe the sleep from your face three times, then perform wudu, then pray two light rak'ahs, and perform tahajjud. Yes.
