Is it permissible to cheat in English, which you have prohibited?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : There is a question that says: Is it permissible to cheat in English, which you have prohibited?

The Shaykh : There is no god but Allah! First of all, I did not prohibit the English language, my brothers. I wish I had English proficiency so that I could call those who do not know Arabic to Islam using that language. And I told you a little while ago that learning it may be an individual obligation or a collective obligation. But I say that it is an evil that I denounce when we teach our young boys, who are five or six years old, the English language while they do not know Arabic. That is what I denounce. As for learning the English language, if there is benefit in it, then it is a benefit. As for cheating, I say that if a student cheats in English, it is obligatory for the teacher to fail him. Yes.

The questioner : May Allah reward our Shaykh with the best reward, benefit us all with his knowledge, reward him, and let us enjoy his company. And may Allah send prayers and blessings upon His servant and Messenger Muhammad.
