What advice do you have for those who call for jihad against the disbelievers while imitating them?

The Shaykh : Yes, exactly.

The questioner : So what is your comment, O Shaykh? What do you advise these people? And when they are told that they are imitating the disbelievers, they say, "These are just superficial matters, and we must focus on the noble things."

The Shaykh : What Allah willed, in any case, my brother, this jihad, unfortunately, and those who call for it today, is like soap foam, soap foam with no reality. Those who want to truly strive in jihad should strive against their own selves. Those who want to sell their blood cheaply in the path of Allah are more deserving, and more deserving, of selling some of their time to establish the law of Allah, for example, prayer. These people think they should maintain the prayers as jihad in the path of Allah, and this prayer costs them only a little time, and the simple jihad of the self compared to fighting which may expose oneself to destruction. And the reality is that we live today amidst conflicting ideas and emotions that are not based on sound principles at all. And I have been asked many times, "We want to go to jihad, even to America." Questions come to me from America. I said to him, "Where are those who want to go to jihad so that you can go to jihad with them? Iraq? Saudi Arabia? Kuwait? None of these people have uttered the word jihad for all these years except in this hour. All of this is political exploitation to increase the number of supporters and to attract emotions, and under what? A word with no reality: jihad. Where is the jihad? And who will go to jihad? Kuwait, for example, which was afflicted with the destruction and ruin it was afflicted with, and this is regrettable, but the Kuwaitis and all other Muslims must remember a legal reality, which is And likewise Iraq, which rebelled against Kuwait, is also, with its rebellion and aggression and killing of innocent souls, and perhaps there is violation of honor as we hear, and Allah knows the truth, also declaring jihad. So where is the jihad in Iraq? Where are some of the Islamic appearances? Unfortunately, Iraq is the furthest of the Islamic countries, or Islamic peoples, from allowing the Islamic call to show any of itself. Iraq is the furthest of all the countries, and yet it is now declaring jihad against whom? Against the Americans. This is, as it is said, the shirt of Uthman, being exploited. I said to some of the enthusiastic brothers: "Where are you going, O people? To the Gulf? These Americans are next to you, here, meaning the Jews. Where are you going to fight? Fight here." Of course, they cannot fight; they know this reality. And they cannot fight there either. So it is a word with no reality except attracting propaganda for the oppressor and exploiting the unbridled emotions of people which have no limits. So what else?
