Is it obligatory to leave the national army if it affects the servant's faith and prevents him from forbidding what is wrong, and is the permission of the parents required for that?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : What do you mean by leaving the army if it affects the faith?

The Shaykh : If it affects the faith and this person is unable to resist a wrong?

The Shaykh : This is a question that does not need an answer because the answer is known, but does that mean that you are in the army now, as it is said, voluntarily and not by compulsion?

The questioner : I can leave!

The Shaykh : If he hastens to do good.

The questioner : May Allah reward you with good. And what if this is without the mother's approval?

The Shaykh : Here you must look at your reality. The reality today is that, unfortunately, the Jordanian army is not, as some claim, a Mustafawi army. As it is said: "The people of Makkah know its valleys best" and "The owner of the house knows best what is in it." You, living in the army, know the truth of this saying: is it a Mustafawi army or not? If we assume that it is truly a Mustafawi army, and we hope that it will soon truly become a Mustafawi army, meaning serving the Muslim nation and the Muslim people, then the presence of this Muslim in the army would be obedience and nearness to Allah (Blessed and Exalted is He). If the father does not want his son to remain in this Mustafawi army, he is in error, because it is as if he does not want his son to perform obedience to his Lord (Mighty and Majestic) by being a soldier among the soldiers of Islam. But now, and the situation is, unfortunately, as we know, and "the letter is clear from its address," where they do not allow the Muslim to imitate the Mustafawi, who claim affiliation to him by name but disavow him in action, then it is necessary to leave at that time, whether the father is pleased or not, due to his saying (peace and blessings be upon him):
A creature is not to be obeyed when it involves disobedience to the "Creator.” لا طاعة لمخلوق في معصية الخالق
Mishkat al-Masabih 3696
Is the answer clear?

The questioner : Is that clear?

The Shaykh : And may Allah protect you, if Allah wills.
