Clarification of the lack of legitimacy in adding the word (Tajalla) to the Khutbat al-Hajah and the response to the greeting.

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : The second point is that I think, either in this sermon or generally, the word "Tajalla" was added as filler. I think "All praise is due to Allah" here had "Tajalla" added to it, or perhaps in other places. The important thing is that this addition of "Tajalla" has no basis in this sermon. And I think we are all in agreement that this addition, wherever it occurs in this sermon, is an addition. And we are in agreement that any addition to a formula reported from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) should not be included. And such an addition occurs among many who give the greeting, saying "Peace be upon you and Allah's mercy and His blessings and His Tajalla." And the word "Tajalla" here is also of this nature. And the wisdom said in some countries: "The one who adds is the brother of the one who subtracts"—this is a correct statement. Just as it is not permissible to subtract from the formula that the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) taught us, so it is not permissible to add to it. This is what came to my mind as advice before answering the question.
