Is this supplication permissible (O Allah, take revenge for us with the sword of Your wrath)?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : They add to the supplication "with the sword of Your wrath" or "Your wrath."

The Shaykh : With what?

The questioner : They say: "O Allah, take revenge for us with the sword of Your wrath."

The Shaykh : I did not hear.

The questioner : "With the sword of Your wrath."

The Shaykh : My brother, speech in the Arabic language is broad, as long as it does not contradict the Shari'ah. There is nothing in it that prevents it. This is what they call figurative speech, not literal. Allah does not have a sword. Therefore, they attached the sword to the wrath. It is an acceptable Arabic expression in terms of Arabic usage.
