Imitating the disbelievers: A Muslim walking with his head uncovered.

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : Therefore, I sincerely wish for our Muslim youth that their appearance not be mixed with the appearance of the disbelievers. It is necessary to place something on the heads. As for walking with bare heads, this is not of Islam in any way. Until fifty years ago, no one of us would enter the mosque with a bare head. So what has befallen the Muslims? Did a new revelation descend from the sky stating that it is better religiously, in terms of health, and philosophically—I do not know what they say—that they walk with bare heads? No, by Allah, this is one of the plagues that came to them with those who colonized us in the lands of Islam: Syria, Jordan, Egypt, and so on. Therefore, we must first adopt Islam in its entirety as a complete Islamic creed, and then apply it in its entirety. I believe that when I say "in its entirety," we are not able to apply it in its entirety, but that we should set our goal before us to apply our Islam completely, without deficiency, within the limits of
Allah does not charge a soul except [with that within] its capacity لَا يُكَلِّفُ اللَّهُ نَفْسًا إِلَّا وُسْعَهَا
[Al-Baqarah 2:286]
.
I see that it is easier for the Muslim youth to adopt headwear along with letting the beard grow; because letting the beard grow truly requires struggle. So why does not this struggling Muslim complete his Islam in appearance? Because this appearance is the title of the inner reality? I believe the matter requires some awareness from the people of knowledge and the people of preaching and guidance, and then some independent legal reasoning from these young men who are obligated to follow the Sunnah in its entirety.
We ask Allah (Mighty and Majestic) to guide us and them to follow the Sunnah.
Has the call to prayer been made yet?

Eid Abbasi : No, the call to prayer has not been made yet.

The Shaykh: Go ahead.
