The Shaykh’s clarification that the mistakes of those who claim affiliation with the Salafi call are not attributed to their methodology or their Salafism.

The Shaykh : So, if such words come from some of those who belong to the Salafi call, the call is not responsible for them or for their speakers, based on what you heard from the verse and the authentic hadith. We admit, with regret, that such words may come from some of the enthusiastic Salafis, those who have a particular character or nature, such as that sharpness, and that their mind lags behind their tongue and their tongue is ahead of their mind; so he speaks before he thinks. We cannot exonerate a call from such people, or from their like. The Companions of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) were not without those in whom some verses were revealed, and those from whom the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was angry, and sometimes he would curse and insult and curse them. That is because in every group and every community there are those who did not conduct themselves with the etiquette of the call and did not adopt its morals.
